Our Team

April Reid
April first came to the Bay Regional Veterinary Hospital as a high school co-op student.  Thirteen years later, April is our head receptionist and keeps the clinic running smoothly. You may see April rollerblading on the riverfront trail with her golden retriever.  Her other pets include two yorkshire terriers and four cats.

Kelly Powles  Registered Veterinary Technician

Kelly graduated from St. Lawrence College in 2006.  She started working for us in 2008.

Marlena Mackenzie
Marlena graduated from KVL - The Royal Veterinary College in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In 2000 she moved to Belleville with her family and has been working at the Bay Regional Veterinary Hospital since 2002.

Marlena assists with surgeries as well as patient care.  She also manages our diagnostic laboratory.

When not at work, Marlena is busy with her three sons.  Her household also includes a Border Collie, 3 cats, one budgie and 2 goldfish.
