Our VeterinariansDr. Linda Hack graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1987. After practicing mixed animal medicine and surgery in the Owen Sound area for two years, she moved to Belleville with her husband, Dr. Ron Herron, a large animal practitioner, presently at the Bay of Quinte Veterinary Services. Dr. Hack started working at the Bay Regional Veterinary Hospital in 1989 and purchased the clinic with Dr. Naomi Scromeda in 2000. Dr. Hack has developed as special interest in veterinary dentistry. When not driving her two daughters, Emma and Katharine to their various activities, Dr. Hack enjoys playing tennis, kickboxing and walking her two standard poodles, Max and Molly |
Naomi left Vancouver Island after high school and attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon graduating in 1986. She moved to Belleville in 1986 and practiced at Coleman Veterinary Hospital where she developed a special interest in surgery. After providing locum practice coverage for busy clinics in Trenton, Belleville, Peterborough and Kingston, Naomi purchased Bay Regional Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Linda Hack in 2000. Her current special interest is soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Naomi spends her spare time with her horse Jobe, competing in dressage and horse trials (eventing). Other interests include hiking, rollerblading, skiing and biking. She shares her interests with her husband Doug and her daughter Alia who is completing an engineering degree. Her cats, Butterscotch and Java Bean rule the house but keep asking for a family dog. |
